The 3RDPEDAL process breaks the Services Transformation and Modernization journey into four distinct sections with eight overlapping phases.
"Evaluate & Customize"
In this section we conduct a series of assessments to measure the current health of a services organization. We evaluate things like services capability, billable utilization, operational processes, financial performance, and organizational structure. Here we establish a series of services baselines that will be used to measure the impact of the improvements we will later recommend and implement. In the Design & Plan phase we outline the framework for the engagement and determine shared goals and objectives.
"Modernize"
This section has three distinct, but interconnected 3RDPEDAL proprietary phases, that together provide the foundational structure for the services transformation from a traditional services provider model, to a modern services provider model. During each of these phases we align and collaborate with existing leadership and management teams to ensure rapid knowledge attainment, and company-wide adoption. Significant focus is placed on cultural impact and change.
"Implement & Capitalize"
This is where the rubber hits the road. In this section we concentrate on the concepts, processes and behaviours required to ensure that we can collectively implement the modernization section and capitalize on the changes. We focus on things like services enablement, operational efficiency and support. The baselines established in the Evaluate & Customize step, resurface so we can measure the impact being made.
"Evolve"
The last section, is a continuous improvement process designed to fine tune and refine anything that we uncover along the transformation and modernization journey. In this section we often undertake the creation of new services offerings and capabilities to address gaps that we've identified in previous sections.
The 3RDPEDAL Engagement model starts with an exercise whereby we collaborate with each potential client to define their specific needs and requirements. We then map each need and requirement to one of our offerings and establish the delivery approach for the engagement. The delivery approach usually involves three different structures - Time & Materials Consulting, Fixed Project Delivery and Program Performance. The overall program approach, including deliverables, timelines, milestones, and fees are then clearly defined and presented in a customized Statement of Work.
The 3RDPEDAL "Program Performance" fee structure is the common-goal component of our engagement model - it's how we connect with our clients outcomes and their actual measured results with our own results (and our fees).
